Welcome to Range Hero. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Range Hero mobile application (the "App") operated by Greenside Ventures, LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Range Hero is a golf practice application that uses artificial intelligence to generate randomized practice courses tailored to your preferences. The App helps golfers improve their skills through structured, variable practice sessions based on motor learning research principles.

The App provides practice guidance and tracking tools but is not a substitute for professional golf instruction. Results may vary based on individual effort and practice consistency.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly update your account information if it changes
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Trial

We offer a 14-day free trial for new users. During the trial period, you have access to all premium features. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged.

Subscription Plans

We offer the following subscription options:

• Annual Plan: $59.99 per year (equivalent to $5/month)
• Monthly Plan: $9.99 per month

Billing and Renewal

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your plan). Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device. We do not have access to your payment card details. Payment terms are subject to the policies of the respective app store.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled according to Apple's or Google's refund policies.

4. AI-Generated Content

The App uses artificial intelligence (Google AI/Gemini) to generate personalized practice courses based on your session preferences, including focus areas, target distances, duration, and ball count.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated courses are created algorithmically based on your inputs and may not be perfect for every situation
• The AI provides practice suggestions, not professional golf instruction
• Your session preferences are processed by third-party AI services to generate courses
• AI-generated content should be used at your own discretion and risk

5. Data Collection and Storage

To provide our services, we collect and store the following data:

• Account Information: Email address, name (optional), and authentication data
• Practice Session Data: Shot results, club selections, distances, miss patterns, and session history
• Usage Analytics: App usage patterns, feature engagement, and performance metrics
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app version

6. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services to provide functionality:

• Supabase: Cloud database for secure data storage
• Google AI (Gemini): AI model for generating practice courses
• PostHog: Product analytics for improving user experience
• RevenueCat: Subscription management
• Apple/Google: Authentication and payment processing

Your use of the App is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of these third-party services.

7. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export: Request an export of your practice data

To delete your account, you can use the in-app account deletion feature or contact us at support@rangehero.app. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use automated systems or software to extract data from the App
• Share your account credentials with others
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is owned by Greenside Ventures, LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our express written permission.

You retain ownership of your practice data. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to use your data solely to provide and improve our services.

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We do not guarantee any specific results from using the App. Golf improvement depends on many factors including individual effort, practice consistency, and physical ability.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GREENSIDE VENTURES, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the App or by contacting us. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid subscription fees.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
